What is our mission?

During the month of September, Wicked Good Cause and the Go Wicked Gold campaign create awareness and raise money for childhood cancer research. The research is focused on finding new treatments for childhood cancer, and a portion of the money raised goes back to the community to provide support for families currently battling the disease.

When does this happen?

The month of September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and gold is the color of childhood cancer. Most of the Go Wicked Gold activities and fundraising occurs during the month of September. As a volunteer, we will need your help immediately to get the ball rolling to help your Teams Go Wicked Gold!

Where does this happen?

Last year, we were able to get many teams in several towns on the South Shore to Go Wicked Gold, including Hingham, Rockland, Norwell, Pembroke, Duxbury, Plymouth, Carver, and Abington. This year our goal is to spread our campaign even further so that more towns begin to Go Wicked Gold for childhood cancer during the month of September.

Partnership opportunities

Wicked Good Cause is looking to partner with local businesses to host GO WICKED GOLD fundraisers, shopping events and/or offer specials throughout the month of September with a portion of proceeds being donated to the GO WICKED GOLD fundraising effort.
